Tennessee Quarterly Newsletter Contest Guidelines
All Newsletters to be considered for the Tennessee Newsletter Award are to be submitted to the
Tennessee M.E.D. Coordinators, in "Hard Copy".
Newsletters to be considered for the Tennessee Award should contain the following:
• Date, Month and Year of Newsletter
• "GWRRA" or "Gold Wing Road Riders Association" along with the GWRRA logo,
District and Region designation.
• Chapter name, logo and letter designation and where it is located
• Monthly meeting place and time
• Listing of Officers/Staff with contact information
• Article from Chapter Director and/or Assistant Chapter Director
• Article from Chapter Educator
• Calendar of rides and/or events, departure time and place etc.
• Some article of interest from National, Region, and District
• Remaining articles should be from the membership (Recipes and For Sale Section are
acceptable).
Other considerations:
• Overall presentation sponsors recognized, etc.
• Is the newsletter informative to the membership regarding events and activities affecting
the chapter
• No special consideration given for color Things NOT acceptable in the Newsletter
• Political and Religious articles because of their highly personal nature
• Newsletters will not be used for personal tirades or "politicking" for, or against, a
