SPRING FLING, Pigeon Forge TN
Welcome to the Spring Fling 2012 Talent Show competition! This letter will give necessary information for anyone interested in participating in the talent show competition.
Each act must be pre-registered by returning this application completed in detail to the address indicated no later than April 1, 2012. Any applications received after the due date will not be considered. RULES:
1) ALL performers must have a full registration for the rally (no day passes).
2) At least one member of the act must be a full member of GWRRA.
3) All performers must be amateurs only.
4) No more than one act per category, per chapter.
5) Time limit for each act is 5 minutes only.
6) Any act that is not in good taste (any sexually suggestive material) will be disqualified. Please remember this is a ‘family’ show. Decision of the Talent Show Coordinators is final. You will be contacted by the Talent Show Coordinator after your application has been received.
7) All acts must be original for 2012. Contestants that performed in 2011 or previous years must not use previously presented material.
8) The performers will furnish all props and equipment (sound system will be provided – bring your own music on suitable format).

JUDGING CRITERIA:  The various acts will be judged on their freshness and imagination, unique novelty and inventiveness and quality of performance presentation.

CATEGORIES:  There will be three (3) categories. They are Tennessee SERIOUS, Tennessee FUNNY, and OUT of STATE Combined (funny or serious). The Talent Show Coordinators, according to the details of the application, will determine category placement of the applications.

AWARDS:  Cash awards will be presented as per the Spring Fling flyer – each category will receive: $250 First Place, $100 Second Place
