From the Director
TN District Directors

GWRRA 2014 Chapter Educators of the Year.
Hello everyone. Bill Archer, Glenda and Alan Keough are working very hard to put Spring Fling together for us. They are working with Jamie Goebel of Southern Honda Power Sports and Bill Breneman to put together a fantastic package for us next year. We are so fortunate to have these people working to make Spring Fling a great and fun filled experience. Bill is working to put together some great packages for us as far as hotel rooms at a reasonable rate along with some discounts at local attractions. We are also working to get the North Carolina Drill team back along with the Top Gun Competition. Jim Cobb is also putting together several on bike games like we use to have. We are also putting together some great entertainment for your enjoyment. We are also putting the Ladies only event again. The District staff is working to make this one of the best Spring Flings yet. How successful we are will be if you come and participate and have fun.

Patti and I have just returned from the West Virginia District Convention in Summersville West Virginia. We want to thank Bill and Beth Ann for a great time. We had several people from Tennessee come up and support them. Don’t believe anything you hear about a dancing routine staring Jim Rambo and myself. Don’t look on face book either. What we were doing was demonstrating how to remove fire ants from your person if they should get on you, or how to walk on icy surfaces. Yeah that’s the ticket. Enough said. Dianne Hixson won a truck load of door prizes. Alvin Nelson and I taught the Trike course after the instructor locked his keys in his trailer and could not get to his equipment. Don Henry will never live that one down.
